To enable the FTPes for your connection using FileZilla, please follow the steps given below:
- Go to FileZilla.
- Click on File >> Site Manager.
- This second step will bring up a site manager pop up box.
- Click on New Folder and named it.
- Click on New Site to add your account under that folder you have created in step 4.
- Enter the following details in respective boxes:
- Host : your domain name.
- Port : 21.
- Protocol : FTP – File Transfer Protocol.
- Encryption : Require Explicit FTP over TLS.
- Logon Type : Normal.
- Username : user name.
- Password : password.
- Click on Connect.
- A pop up box will appear regarding security certificate being used for connection.
- You may want to tick that option “Always trust certificate in future sessions” so that you will not bother with this message box in future.
